The United States’ Neglected Money

USA Neglects its Money

Despite the invested money Americans provide to immigrant students, one of the powerful nations of the world, USA, is suffering economically by not allowing degreed immigrants students to remain in such country. Furthermore, The USA has the world’s largest international student population, with nearly 700,000 students choosing to broaden their education and life experience in the United States. Now, why USA would give scholarships to immigrant students if all these students have to go back to his/her country? Wouldn’t be better to keep them in America to produce to this country if they’ve had acquired financial aid? According to the F-1 student visa, departure is unavoidable since is one of the requirements listed in such law. Is this the right thing to do after all these students received financial aid? On the other hand, USA government has been trying to pass the Dream Act, a common-sense legislation drafted by both Republicans and Democrats that would give students who grew up in the United States a chance to contribute to our country’s well-being by serving in the U.S. armed forces or pursuing a higher education. It’s good for our economy, our security, and our nation. That’s why the Dream Act has long enjoyed bipartisan support. It’s limited, targeted legislation that will allow only the best and brightest young people to earn their legal status after a rigorous and lengthy process, and applies to those brought to the United States as minors through no fault of their own by their parents, and who know no other home. Unfortunately, such legislation was not passed in the senate hurting USA’s economy. Furthermore, USA’s government has the largest Hispanics drop outs. When would this country be responsible to fix this problem? Drop outs cost money.
