I am born in 90s, that means I am the generation of “Millennialsâ€, many people may blame that this is a generation extremely spoiled by their parents, people do not know how to handle pressure, self-willed and highly depend on their parents. But what's wrong with it, we are grow in an era of astounding economic wealth, people live longer and have the highest standard of living in history. We are smarter than our parents because we can learn from history, we have enough resources to enhance our working ability. Technology is use to help people become more flexible and relaxing.
We are special because we are wealthy, our family can support us. Unlike my parents generation, they face the Asian economic crisis when they graduated from College. They cannot find the major they love since they need to work as soon as possible; their major must be business, computer science or some major that helps to earn money. In 21th century, we can enjoy the freedom to choose what we want to do since we have time and money. When people enjoy their job, the productivity will increase double or triple, so our society can grow more fast and more convenient.
My parents don't like their job, I think most of the last generation did the same thing. They face many pressure because of their work, and it affects their emotion when they back home. That's why there are so many divorce in U.S. If the company can provide a comfortable and fun environment, our life will be happier, then the $50 billions must be worth.
