Wiccan Belief System

The importance of understanding a person’s religion and belief system is vital in the United States today. Religious groups in the United States are larger than any other country in the world. According to the National Survey of Religious Identification (NSRI) summary in 2001   the united states currently is home to twenty belief systems. This makes the general and the role of personal religious traditions hard to define. Nearly eighty five percent of Americans view general the role of Monotheistic religious traditions the path to enlightenment ( Robinson, 2005) while fifteen percent of Americans believe in a philosophical belief   system   or the Scientific method( Robinson, 2005)  
People need to be educated of the many different beliefs of the world.   The reasoning for this is simple. Many of the world’s religions stem off from one another.   The main theme is finding a path to strengthening one's personal faith. A person may not be of the same mind of some religious belief; in spite of this no one in a single belief system cannot argue a person’s need for inner peace.   Nevertheless people’s general attitude toward a person’s chosen path to enlightenment is debatable. I learned this harshly six years ago, after I converted to Wiccan belief system.   I personally have been called a satin worshiper for wearing a scared Wiccan symbol necklace.   The truth is wiccans do not believe in Satan.   This is a common misconception of a Wiccan for the simple reason the translation in bible is witchcraft. I decided to practice Wicca after a few years of self study of many different.   I sent years trying find a connector between the holy bible, personal experiences, and personal beliefs. I personally do not believe in Satan and I believe a person should be able to decide the scared method to enlightenment
