For this report, I have chosen to visit a Jewish Synagogue.   I have also conducted an interview with some of the members and asked them a series of questions, which I will discuss in this report.   I will also be comparing and contrasting this experience with at least one other religion. There will be a conclusion of this experience followed by sources.

 
    I visited the Ohev Sholom Synagogue in Prairie Village, Kansas last Sunday morning. This was a last minute change to my original plans as I did some last minute investigation and found this synagogue closer in location and more popular. The experience was truly amazing! I was not anticipating actually having a good time going here and conducting this interview, but I actually had a very pleasant experience and gained a lot of valuable knowledge about the Jewish religion, and about other human beings as well!   Here is what happened:
    With my notepad containing the questions I was going to ask in my jacket pocket and my MapQuest driving directions in my hand, I reluctantly jumped into my car and headed towards the Ohev Sholom Synagogue in Prairie Village, Kansas. It was 9:00am Sunday morning and I felt like I was betraying my home church this morning! But none the less, I put the gas pedal down and headed out for the synagogue.
    When I arrived, it appeared very similar to pulling into the Northgate Baptist Church parking lot, of which I am a member.   It was 9:23 by this time and I was very relieved that I made it in time, I hate being late to church!   But as I looked around, I noticed a lot of similarities and some very distinct differences immediately.   Everyone had families which were walking into the synagogue together, dressed nicely, just like at my home Baptist church.
